Tips
Seeds are light-dependent and should be surface-sown or very lightly covered. Place in a warm, bright location (25-30°C) with consistent moisture maintained via spray bottle or bottom-watering to avoid rot. Cover with clear plastic to maintain high humidity and provide occasional air exchange. Seedlings need full sun and should be protected from direct harsh sunlight initially. Dormant seeds in nature germinate prolifically when forest gaps appear, so ensure adequate light exposure. Remove cover gradually once seedlings emerge to improve air circulation.
