Kniphofia rooperi, commonly known as Red Hot Poker or Torch Lily, is an evergreen perennial native to the Eastern Cape of South Africa. This robust species produces distinctive large, rounded, egg-shaped flower heads with bright red and yellow bicolored flowers, blooming in late summer through autumn.
