Flueggea leucopyrus, commonly known as Indian Snowberry, is an erect thorny shrub native to East Africa and South Asia. The plant is mainly propagated through seeds and occasionally by stem cuttings. Fresh seeds germinate easily under warm conditions in well-drained sandy or loamy soil.

Tips
Seeds should be sown within one month of collection. Epigeal germination type. Plant prefers sunny, dry locations and is drought-tolerant. Due to low seed production, stem cuttings (semi-hardwood and hardwood) are also used as alternative propagation method.
