Eucalyptus wandoo (wandoo or white gum) is a small to medium-sized tree endemic to southwestern Western Australia. Seeds require cold stratification for 2 weeks and light for germination, with seeds sown on the surface of well-draining substrate in a warm, well-lit environment for reliable germination within 2-4 weeks.

Tips
Surface sow seeds without burying them as they require light to germinate. Dust lightly with fine soil to reduce tipping. Keep substrate moist but not waterlogged using a propagator or covered container to maintain humidity. Water seedlings from below, not from above, to avoid fungal issues. Germination temperature should be 18-21°C. Pot up seedlings into individual containers once the second set of true leaves develops. Transplant to larger containers when first true leaves are fully expanded and second pair begins to appear. Ready for field planting in early summer after hardening off.
