Eucalyptus pulverulenta, commonly known as silver-leaved mountain gum or Baby Blue, is a small tree native to southern New South Wales, Australia. The species is prized for its silvery-blue juvenile foliage and is widely used in floristry and ornamental landscaping. Seeds germinate readily and benefit from 4 weeks of cool stratification at 4°C prior to warmth.

Tips
Sow seeds on surface of moist, porous mix and cover lightly with sand or vermiculite. Avoid top watering; use bottom watering or misting to prevent seed displacement. Provide bright light immediately after germination. Do not press seeds into medium. Use individual pots rather than trays as seedlings dislike root disturbance. Maintain high humidity during germination. Seedlings ready for transplant when 20 cm tall (8 inches). Store fresh seeds in cool, dry conditions; germination rates decline with prolonged storage. Keep substrate consistently moist but not waterlogged.
