Eucalyptus petiolaris is a small to medium-sized tree endemic to South Australia. Seeds are fine and germinate readily under favorable conditions without requiring stratification or scarification.

Sowing
What to expect
Tips
Sow seeds on surface of porous mix and lodge in pores when watered. Light covering with mix optional. Water with fine mist to avoid seed disturbance. Keep substrate moist but not waterlogged. Avoid coldest and hottest months; spring sowing preferred. Do not discard non-germinated seeds immediately as dormancy may be broken by natural conditions later.
