Brugmansia suaveolens var. pink, commonly known as Angel's Trumpet, is a tropical semi-evergreen shrub native to southeastern Brazil, belonging to the Solanaceae family. The pink variety produces spectacular, fragrant, trumpet-shaped flowers and is prized as an ornamental plant worldwide. All parts of the plant are highly toxic if ingested, particularly seeds and leaves, so careful handling is essential.

Press pre-soaked seeds firmly against soil surface without covering—light exposure is essential for germination. Cover pots with clear plastic or place in a humidity dome to maintain moisture. Provide 18-20 hours of bright light daily using grow lights positioned 2-3 inches above seeds. Maintain consistently moist (not waterlogged) substrate. Keep soil temperature warm at 70-77°F (21-24°C). Mist soil regularly to prevent drying. Remove cork seed coat gently if it remains attached to seedling. Ensure excellent air circulation to prevent damping-off. Transplant to individual containers when seedlings develop their first pair of true leaves. Note: Plants do not flower until the main stem branches or forks, typically at 80-150 cm height.
