Beaumontia grandiflora, commonly known as Herald's Trumpet or Easter Lily Vine, is a vigorous evergreen woody climber native to the mountainous regions of the eastern Indian Subcontinent, southern China, and Southeast Asia. The species produces large, fragrant, trumpet-shaped white flowers and is widely cultivated as an ornamental. Seeds have a hard coat and germinate readily with scarification and warm, bright conditions.

Sow seeds in early spring on the surface of moist seed compost and lightly press into soil. Scarify seeds before soaking for best results. Cover tray with clear plastic to maintain constant humidity and provide bright, indirect light at 20-25°C (68-77°F). Ensure soil remains consistently moist but not waterlogged. Remove cover once seedlings emerge and gradually acclimate to outdoor conditions. Use artificial lighting if natural light is insufficient. Transplant seedlings to small pots when large enough to handle and grow on in warm conditions before planting outdoors in early summer.
